Specimen Requirement

Container/Tube Type: 

Red (No Additive)
SST (Serum Separator)
Green (Lithium Heparin)

Remarks: 

A fasting specimen is recommended. Spin down and send 1 mL of serum or plasma refrigerated. If multiple specimens are collected, label specimens appropriately (corresponding draw time).

Minimum sample volume is 0.5 mL.

Unacceptable Conditions: 

Hemolyzed specimens.
