Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube:
Preferred: Gold-top serum gel tube or plain, red-top tube
Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL of serum, allow specimens to completely clot before centrifugation
Stability: Refrigerate samples (2 to 8 °C) for 10 days or keep frozen for up to 2 months.
Collection Instructions: Hemolyzed specimens are not acceptable.
