Additional Specimen Collection Information
Collect a random urine specimen in a sterile container.
Label
the specimen appropriately with two identifiers, patient name

another identifier, (patient ID number, DOB, etc.) include date

time of collection. Store the urine specimen refrigerated and
transport to the lab within 48 hours.
