2 mL random urine is required.

hours.

Reference Values
Microalbumin: < 1.9 mg/dL
Creatinine: Not established for random specimens; results
are
subject to interpretation by the clinician.
Microalbumin/Creatinine Ratio:
Male: Less than (<) 17 mg/g
Female: Less than (<) 25 mg/g.
Performance
Testing is performed Monday through
Sunday.
Typically completed within 4
hours after the specimen arrives at the testing site.
