SST (Serum Separator)

Red (No Additive)

Collection Information: 

Collect blood in a Serum Separator Tube (SST)

Transport Information: 

Submit 2.5 mL of serum. Send specimen refrigerated in a screw-capped vial. Forward promptly.

Minimum Sample Volume: 

1.2 mL of serum (approximately 2.5 mL of whole blood based upon normal patient hematocrit)
